These are the Chocolate Hills on Bohol Island in the Philippines. They are so named because the grass on the hills turns brown, like chocolate, during the dry season—resembling Hersey’s Chocolate Kisses.
This photo was taken on a rainy day. I climbed up the viewing hill and as I neared the top, the clouds parted just long enough for the two rainbows to appear. I quickly took the picture and then the rain and clouds returned. It really was perfect timing!
