MtElbert

This is a view near treeline of Mt. Elbert’s peak in Colorado. At 14,433 feet it is the highest peak in Colorado, second only to California’s Mount Whitney in the U.S. lower 48. Although it is the highest of Colorado’s 14ers, it is one of the easiest to summit. The trail is well-defined and other than a false summit that will crush your spirit it has no death-defying obstacles.
