This is a closeup look at the formidable east wall of Mt. Gould in Glacier National Park. It is the highest point along the ridge formation known as the “garden wall.” This east wall plunges 4,000′ in less than half a mile.
Want a view from the top? It is actually easier than it looks if approached from the west side. I am told that no climbing gear is needed. I haven’t personally climbed it, but it is on my list for our next visit to the park.
