Fall Road

FallRoad

Have I mentioned that autumn is my favorite time of year?!?! Well, it is and there’s no better place on the planet to see the colors change than amongst Colorado’s Quaking Aspen trees. This image is from a few years back along a no name road near Buena Vista, Colorado. There are few things as tranquil as strolling through the forest as the cool mountain air passes through the colorful trees, rustling the leaves and causing them to quake. This noise that they make is where they get the name Quaking Aspen. As I write this I am behind my desk, but when this is posted my wife and I will be hiking and camping amongst the Aspens once again. I can hardly wait.

Let me know what your favorite time of year is in the comments below.
