Being inside the slot canyon known as The Narrows is like being in another world. The path ahead and the one behind are all that exist. You follow the water along its path through the landscape. Every once in a while you are greeted with side canyons that lead to unknown places. Is this a way out of The Narrows or a dead end? This is one of those side canyons.
Jennifer and I didn’t venture very far up any of these tributaries, but we did poke our heads into a few. These canyons, at times, are just as deep but far narrower than the more famous canyon carved out by the Virgin River. This is a playground for the more adventurous canyoneers or at least someone with more time and some good rope.
