A Small Green Lizard

A Small Green Lizard

I believe this small green lizard is a Carolina Anole. As you can tell, in comparison to the blooms on the Rhododendron bush, he is tiny. Jennifer and I came across him a few years back while visiting the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. If you haven’t ever been, the grounds of the gardens are stunning. There are all kinds of small wildlife in the park that the many species of plants and flowers attract. I highly recommend a visit when you are in the Atlanta area. I would say that it is second on my list only to the city’s aquarium.

Not sure which time of the year this image was captured (autumn?) , but the small lizard stands out from the foliage. Nice shot.

Thanks. It was actually mid summer. It is great that images have time codes 🙂
