Often mistaken for a dragonfly, this is in fact a damselfly. I found a bush full of these insects while walking along a canal in the rural countryside near Čapljina, Bosnia-Herzegovina. Mexican Spider

Anyone who knows me well at all knows that I am a bit arachnophobic. That is why it is very weird that I have a fascination with taking photos of spiders. All I know about this spider is that it’s of the orb variety and that it lived in a very picturesque cactus tree overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
